501     WEINTHAL L: Volumes 2 & 3 of “The Story of the Cape to Cairo Railway and River Route 1887-1922.” Vol. 2: The Iron Spine and Ribs of Africa; Vol. 3: Variation of the Main Trunk Route and Feeder Lines in Existence or Projected.  Published by Pioneer, 1922.  510 and 454pp and 49pp respectively with colour plates, mounted portraits in dark green half leather/gilt boards, slightly rubbed and bumped. 521     GWR foolscap sized ledger type book “Running Powers”. 291pp showing running power agreements over other company’s lines and their running powers over GWR lines. Most pages have small, RCH type diagrams of the lines in question. Dated May 1927. Leather bound hardback covers rubbed, contents VGC.  £50

523     CALEDONIAN RAILWAY official souvenir photo album for the Royal Visit to Scotland, July 1914. Part leather-bound hardback covers with title in gold on front. Contains 53 pages of photos, many showing interior views of stations at Glasgow Central, Eglinton Street, Parkhead, Dundee West, Perth and Dunblane, all heavily decorated for the royal visit.  Superb item.  Covers a little rubbed on edges but generally good condition.  £100     

524     NER SIGNALBOX TRAIN REGISTER book from South Junction Carlton signal box. Large size, approx 100 pages all duly completed between August and September 1902. Some staining to cover but generally good for age.  £10
